Tyson Foods agrees to purchase IBP Inc – the No. 1 U.S beef processor for $3.2 billion in cash and stock.
California’s energy crisis continues (it’s all being manipulated – but no one is saying anything yet) and has nothing to do with fewer power plants etc.

Intel Corp. is getting into the market for portable digital music players with the Intel Pocket Concert. It has 128 megs of storage and will sell for $300.
Yahoo Inc will stop carrying online actions of nazi artifacts and other hate-related materials after some users complained that such items promote hate and violence.
EToys says it is laying off 700 from its 1,000 person staff and closing two warehouses. It was considered (once) a hot online company.
So far, WebMD has lost more than $2 billion.
