Google Now Most Popular Search And Website

Google has surpassed Yahoo to become the most popular website in the U>S., Google has long been the Internet’s leader in search but its audience has trailed Yahoo’s when counting other services such as e-mail and photo sharing.  The lead is tiny – 466,000 visitors out of about 141 million apiece.

 

 

Entertainment News/American Idol – May 15, 2008

American Idol – David Cook is the winner and the runner-up David Archuleta.

Both singers will part of the show’s annual concert tour. Tickets for “American Idols Live! Tour,” which features the TV show’s top 10 contestants – go on sale this week and will begin July 1 in Arizona and do 50 stops!

 Lou Pearlman who created the Backstreet Boys and N Sync, is sentenced to 25 years in federal prison for engineering a decades-long scam that bilked thousands of investors out of their life savings.

Leona Lewis is on David Lettermen on Tuesday. The Pussycat Dolls are on the Kimmel Live show.

In Chicago – The R. Kelly porn trial begins – nearly six years after he was indicted for allegedly filming himself having sex with a girl who may have been as young as 13. 

Amy Winehouse will not face charges over video footage that allegedly shows her taking drugs.

Eric Hutchinson is dropped by Warner Bros. Records before his album was finished. So Eric is turning to the Internet and thanks to his MySpace, iTunes and Gossip Guru Perez Hilton – is getting it out.  Interestingly – the added interest caused Warner to re-sign him. Well – Hutchinson was on a subsidiary – Maverick – but the guy who approached him didn’t know he was on Maverick. Anyway – his album is coming out – on Warner Bros.
