Sports performance is the set of results obtained by an athlete based on the application of the resources available to him. Among the main factors of performance in soccer, two stand out: physical capacity and technique. Being aware of the physical and technical condition of each player is essential to correctly program training sessions and, therefore, the application of tests to evaluate these factors must be very present in high-performance football.
The performance tests in soccer are classified into different categories: Evaluation or physical preparation test and evaluation or skill test, you can do all with the 안전놀이터.
Physical preparation test: Oriented to the physical evaluation of the players in order to determine their physical condition and power and to know their weak and strong points. Among the different physical preparation tests most used in football, the following stand out:
The Yo-Yo test +: The player has to repeat races of determined distances by adjusting the speed to the path that he has to travel and to the rhythm of a progressively increasing sound signal. The objective is to measure the level of resistance, cardiorespiratory fitness and recovery of the player in situations of intermittent effort.
Anterior flexibility test of the trunk: Barefoot and seated, the athlete stands with his legs extended against a box or bench; from this position, the player flexes the trunk trying to reach the greatest possible distance with his hands. The objective is to measure the elasticity and flexibility of the muscles that correspond to the area of the lower back, the gluts and the hamstrings.
Abdominal resistance: Perform as many sit-ups as possible in 1 minute, with the aim of measuring the strength and resistance of the abdominal and lumbar muscles.
Skills test: Aimed at evaluating the technical capacity and ability of the player. Among the most used tests we find:
Self-pass and shooting: Consists of dividing the goal into 3 sections of equal sizes with scores determined according to the difficulty. In this way the player’s self-passing and shooting ability is evaluated.
Driving: Traveling a certain circuit to detect driving skills, control and changes of direction with the ball
Heading: Impact exercise of the ball with the head to determine its capacity and distance traveled.
The High Performance programs of our Real Madrid Foundation Campus Experience incorporate the application of specific tests that allow evaluating the initial performance of the players and their evolution during the Campus period. In this way, our coaches plan training sessions with specific objectives obtained from these tests.
