Rap singer Snoop Dogg is sentence to three years’ informal probation and agreed to serve 160 hours of community service after agreeing to plead guilty to carrying an illegal police baton in his luggage while boarding a plane in S. California.

NBC will start offering limited free downloads of shows such as “Heroes” and “The Office” as part of its bid to expand the digital distribution of its programs and compete with Apple’s iTunes store.
