 American Idol - Chris Sligh is voted off this week.

Prosecutors in Los Angeles say that they would ask a judge to revoke Paris Hilton’s probation in a reckless-driving case - a move that could lead to jail time. The decision followed an investigation into whether the heiress and reality-TV star violated terms of her probation by driving last month with a suspended license.

Justin Timberlake will host of the 20 th annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards this week.

YouTube announces the seven winners from its inaugural awards this week. Videos “Ask a Ninja” and a treadmill-choreographed music video by the OK Go’s are among the winners. 

IBM says that it had developed a tiny chip capable of transmitting an entire high-definition movie in a single second.

 Both Beyonce and Shakira are on “Beautiful Liar” - a top pop hit and it will be on the deluxe edition of Beyonce’ “B’day” album.

Snoop Dogg won’t be touring in Britain after that country denied him entry. Snoop has been on a European tour with Sean “Diddy” Combs and was supposed to play five dates in Britain. 

Rapper Rusta Rhymes will face trial in NY on two assault charges. Trimmed - Only the final 10 contestants, not 12 will get to go on the traditional “American Idol postseason tour.

TV Guide will launch a test version of an online video search tool that will enable viewers to find clips and full episodes of TV shows posted on the Web. 

“Acceptable TV’ debuts on VH1. It is described as the broadcast spinoff of the website Channel 101.com. There, people (producers) submit digital shorts and the audience has the power to cancel or renew a series for another week.
