Sirius satellite radio reaches a settlement with Universal Music. It had to do with The Sirius S50 radio which allows users to record as many as 50 hours worth of digital music. Sirius will pay for copies by users.

Sony says its pushing back the launch of PlayStation 3 to November.

The FCC levies a $3.6 million fine against CBS TV stations for airing a simulated orgy in “Without a Trace.”

Actor George Clooney issued a statement saying he was misrepresented as a political blogger on a website. The Huffington Post posted a blog under his name this week. The blog said “Clooney” criticized Democrats for not standing up to President Bush when the Iraq war began. Clooney said they words were compiled form interviews with Larry King and a British newspaper.

France loves Jerry Lewis. This week for his 80th birthday – they gave him a medal and induction into the Legion of Honor.

Howard Stern appears on David Letterman’s show and talked about his fight with CBS, even wearing an “I Hate Les Moonves Tour,” directed at the man who runs CBS.
